MeasuPro Programmable Cooking Thermometer VS MeasuPro Ultra-Fast Cooking Thermometer

#1– MeasuPro Programmable Cooking Thermometer

#2 – MeasuPro Ultra-Fast Cooking Thermometer

I was sent both of these thermometers to Product test for free and my husband absolutely loves them. Or can I say he loves at least one of them as he is hoarding the other one in case something should happen to the first one. However he asked me what the difference in the two are. Let me see if I can figure it out.

Let’s call the top one with the color #1 and the other one #2

#1 – You can select from the list of pre-programmed meats and choose from the four levels of doneness according to your taste: rare, medium rare, medium, and well done.

#2 – You can set the thermometer to the temperature of your choice.

#1 –  It has and extra wide measuring range of 32°F to 392°F.

#2 –  It has and extra wide measuring range of 32°F to 392°F.

#1 –   Features a LCD display with large size digits.

#2 – Features a LCD display with large size digits.

So what is the difference in the two of them? #1 has temperatures already programmed into it and #2 you will have to program yourself.

Bottom line is they are both great! Just ask my husband the hoarder. Very well made; works great; and easy to use.
